Water is a basic and essential natural resource that makes life possible for all of us and the creatures with which we share this beautiful county. Using water wisely is essential to ensuring a clean, reliable supply for the future.
Water conservation is a cornerstone of MMWD’s water supply management and sustainability strategies. We partner with ratepayers, businesses, plumbers, landscape contractors and schools to help everyone find ways to use less water and reduce waste. Working together, we have succeeded in reducing demand more than 20 percent from its peak in 1987.
But there is more to do! Reaching our conservation goals depends on you—and we are committed to providing the tools and information to help you conserve.
Note: MMWD’s rebate programs are currently suspended. The Board of Directors is committed to reinstating rebates as soon as the budget allows. We will make an announcement when rebates resume. Thank you for your patience.
