Reservoir Levels Average for November

With Thanksgiving upon us, we are grateful for yesterday's rain and for our customers' continuing commitment to conservation. Thanks to your efforts and the occasional autumn storm, reservoir storage is average for this time of year.

Here are the latest water statistics:

Reservoir Levels: As of November 24, reservoir storage is 51,901 acre-feet,* or 65% of capacity. The average for this date is 51,481 acre-feet, or 65% of capacity.    

Rainfall: Rainfall this year to date (July 1 - November 24, 2015) is 2.66 inches. Average for the same period is 8.15 inches; last year on this date we had 6.01 inches.

Water Use: Water use for the week ending November 24 averaged 17.38 million gallons per day, slightly up from the 16.57 million gallons per day for the same week last year.

*One acre-foot is 325,851 gallons
