MMWD's Current Toilet and Clothes Washer Rebates End June 30, 2015

MMWD Rebates Get Paid to SaveNew and Bigger Rebates Coming Soon!

MMWD's current rebates for high-efficiency toilets and high-efficiency clothes washers end June 30, 2015. Application forms and receipts must be received in our office by June 30.

In addition, we are no longer offering smart irrigation controller rebates. All funds for the current smart controller rebates have been depleted.

Starting July 1, MMWD plans to offer bigger rebates for high-efficiency toilets and clothes washers. And starting in the fall, we plan to roll out a new pilot rebate to help customers replace lawns and other high-water-use landscaping with water-efficient, “Marin-friendly” landscaping. The new rebates are thanks to $1.6 million in California Proposition 84 grant funding awarded to MMWD to support the district's conservation efforts. More details about the new rebates are coming soon. Stay tuned!

In the meantime, our current state grant ends June 30. Toilets and clothes washers purchased before June 30 are only eligible for rebates under the current program. So if you've already purchased your toilet or clothes washer, don't wait to submit your application.

MMWD also will continue to offer district-funded rebates up to $50 each for pool covers, hot water recirculating systems, organic mulch, laundry-to-landscape system components, and rain barrels.
