This Saturday MMWD is hosting a free open house event to show appreciation for our customers’ conservation efforts. Join us from 10 a.m. to noon at 220 Tamal Vista Boulevard in Corte Madera for a fun-filled morning fit for the whole family.
The event will feature facility tours, including a visit to the water quality lab, and a behind the scenes look at the district’s operations center. MMWD staff will be on site to answer any of your water conservation questions and to perform demonstrations of how leaks are detected, and how to read your water meter.
MMWD is planning fun activities for the whole family with an arts and crafts station for kids, and a chance to have your picture taken on some of MMWD’s heavy equipment while wearing the official MMWD safety vest and hardhat.
Learn more about where your water comes from by taking a look at our watershed model. Find out more about the native plants, animals, and topography of Mt. Tamalpais as well as upcoming volunteer stewardship opportunities.
Have questions about the drought? MMWD will have staff on hand to answer any questions, and provide informational materials.
MMWD appreciates all of our customers’ efforts to conserve. Join us for a fun and informative morning as we head into the summer season.
