Pay-by-phone services no longer available to customers

Bill Pay Update – Dec. 7, 2022

Due to technical difficulties impacting a third-party vendor, Marin Water is no longer able to offer its pay-by-phone service to customers.

About 4% of Marin Water customers currently choose to use the pay by phone option to pay their water bills, and the District is working to provide notice to those customers through a variety of communication channels. These customers can expect to receive an automated phone message and a mailed postcard informing them of the change.

It’s important to note that the District still maintains four easy payment options for our customers:

  • Automatic Bill Payments are fast, easy and stress free, allowing customers to enroll in EasyPay to automatically pay bills via their checking accounts.
  • Online Payments leverage a secure online payment system portal to allow customers to pay with a credit card or checking account.
  • Mail Payments are posted the following business day after they’re received.
  • Pay in Person is available to anyone who wishes to visit our offices at 220 Nellen Ave., in Corte Madera.
