Rangers

More than 2 million people visit our Mt. Tamalpais watershed each year. In recent months, we have seen a large increase in visitors to Mt. Tam. They come to hike, bike, walk, or just to get away.

Our rangers serve as first responders, providing medical aid, running search and rescue missions, and keeping our visitors safe. They also fill the role of historians and naturalists, sharing information about what you’ll find on the watershed and about Marin Water’s rich history.

They love what they do and are passionate about protecting the watershed.  If you want to learn more, check out this video to see "A Day in the Life of a Watershed Ranger".

Our rangers are trained in compliance with all laws and regulations.
