Scott in Lucas Valley
Scott is creating a water-saving movement in Upper Lucas Valley. He is partnering with his neighbors to save water on a community scale. He even created a youtube channel that chronicles his journey to reduce his water use by 40%, with help from our Flume rebate. Knowledge is power, particularly when it comes to water use. Check out Scott's channel to see how Flume allows users to find new ways to save water. |

Marin Rowing Association
Simple changes to daily routines can add up to big water savings. Marin Rowing Association shared a great example. To save water, they switched from hosing off their boats after practice to reusing a bucket of soapy water. |

Tim and DROPS
Tim is working with 25 artists from varying experience levels on an art installation project which is themed around the importance of water called DROPS. In his words "The challenge to the artists has been to represent their individual interpretation of the drought and the Marin watershed on one side of their drop form. A watershed is an area of land where all of the water drops that fall in it drain off to a common outlet." We love how the theme highlights the essential nature of water and the fact that every drop counts. We're excited to see the project come to fruition. Dates: September 10 - October 17 Location for initial installation: Volunteer Park Address: 262 Evergreen Ave, Mill Valley, CA 94941 Learn more about DROPS here: https://www.facebook.com/drops2021 |
