Project Description 

The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: installation of approximately 8,500 feet of 20, 18, 16, 12, 10, 8, 6 and 4 inch welded steel pipe with valves, fittings, pipeline disinfection and appurtenances. 

Benefits

The benefit of this project is that it removed over one mile of 100-year-old cast iron pipe and was conducted as a joint roadway and pipeline project, which reduced the impacts to the public, shortened the project schedule and was more cost effective.
