Americorps Programs

AmeriCorps members commit to a service term of 1,700 hours over ten months. In return, AmeriCorps members receive a modest living stipend, health coverage, educational scholarship, professional development and invaluable service experience. Come join the team, and make an impact this year!


Marin Water supports career development for young adults through our volunteer and school programs, internships, and professional partnerships. The Mt. Tamalpais Watershed is the host site for GrizzlyCorps, an AmeriCorps program designed by Project Climate at UC Berkeley’s Center for Law, Energy, and the Environment in partnership with CaliforniaVolunteers. Watershed Stewards Program

The Watershed Stewards Program members work with our aquatic ecologists on the Watershed and Lagunitas Creek. Please visit the California Conservation Corps website to apply. This term lasts from October 2022 to August 2023.


Marin Water is a member of Baywork: a regional network of water and wastewater utilities working together developing qualified candidates, modifying work processes to optimize use of available staff, and maximizing cost-effectiveness of workforce reliability investments through collaboration.
