Project Description

This project requires making the following changes in order to improve water quality at San Clemente Tank and reduce demand on Ross Reservoir during peak times:

  1. Replace the existing 12” butterfly valve (VA-3746), with a 12” SCADA controlled butterfly valve.
  2. Close valve VA-4911A.
  3. Replace valve VA-6352B with a 12” check valve.

Benefits

This project will allow for more turn over in the San Clemente Tank, which will result in better water quality and pressure to the surrounding services.
