Project Description 

This project will replace 5,580 feet of leak prone piping installed as early as 1924. The project comprises approximately 4,450 feet of welded steel pipe and approximately 1,130 feet of 10-inch HPDE pipe. This project is in coordination with City of Belvedere’s earthquake resiliency program, Sanitary District No. 5’s 2020 Cove Road Force Main Replacement Project and planned upcoming paving work. 

Benefits

The benefit of this project is to replace leak prone piping installed as early as 1924 in coordination with City of Belvedere’s earthquake resiliency program, Sanitary District No. 5’s 2020 Cove Road Force Main Replacement Project and planned upcoming paving work to minimize inconvenience to the public.
