High-Efficiency Clothes Washer Rebate Program

Four Easy Steps to Participate.

1. Be a residential Marin Water Customer

2. View the current list of qualifying clothes washer models at Rebates are available for models listed under Tier 2 and Advanced Tier. Rebates are not available for the purchase of clothes washers that use silver ion technology.

3. Purchase and install a new, qualifying high-efficiency clothes washer between July 1, 2021 and December 31, 2024.

4. Submit this online application including a picture of your sales receipt. Please note: Rebate applications must be received no later than 60 days after purchase date.

Clothes washer models listed under Tier 2 and Advanced Tier on the current Consortium for Energy Efficiency's "Super Efficient Home Appliance Initiative Clothes Washer Qualifying Product List" are eligible for this rebate excluding models that use silver ion technology and models listed under Tier 1. Rebate applications with purchase receipt must be submitted to your Participating Water Retailer within 60 days of purchase. The rebate amount varies by Water Retailer. Rebates are available on a first come first served basis until all funds have been expended or December 31, 2024. This program is subject to change or end without prior notice. Limit one rebate per household for a period of five years. The qualifying clothes washer must remain on site for at least six months. Water Retailers reserve the right to inspect the premises to verify installation of the washer. Refusal of inspection or the absence of the washer during an inspection will result in forfeiture or return of the rebate. Please allow up to eight weeks for processing, handling and issuance of rebate. Incomplete applications will be returned. I am the legal owner of the property described or have obtained written consent from the property owner to participate in the “Marin Water Partnership High-Efficiency Clothes Washer Rebate Program.” I independently selected materials, supplies and labor for the purpose of performing the installation. I agree that all work performed complies with applicable state and local laws, ordinances and regulations. In addition, I agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Water Retailer, its directors, officers, agents and employees against any and all loss, liability, expense, claims, suits and damages, including attorney’s fees, arising out of or resulting from the purchase and installation of product(s) described above. I certify under penalty of perjury that the information on this rebate application is true and correct and that I have read, understand and agree to the terms and conditions of this rebate program.
  • Applicant expressly agrees that Marin Water may inspect all properties participating in this program; that Marin Water does not guarantee the performance of any product receiving a rebate; and that Marin Water does not warrant any product to be free of defects, the quality of workmanship, or the suitability of the premises or products for the installation.
  • Applicant further agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Marin Water, its directors, officers, agents, and employees from and against any and all loss, damage, expense, claims suits, and liability, including attorney fees arising out of or in any way connected with the product(s) and its (their) installation. Applicant shall indemnify, hold harmless, defend and release Marin Water, its officers, directors, agents, and employees from any and all liability, claims, damages, costs and expenses of lawsuits, which may be asserted by any person or entity, including Applicant, arising out of or in connection with the activities of Applicant, its agents, and employees provided for herein whether or not there is concurrent passive negligence on the part of the District but excluding liability for District’s sole negligence and willful misconduct.
