Project Description 

Installation of approximately 2,200 ft. of 4-inch pipeline to replace the existing 4-inch welded steel pipe with deteriorating wooden supports that elevate the pipe over the marsh surroundings. This pipeline was adopted into the District’s system in 1994 and the 4” welded steel pipe and supports were installed approximately in 1965. 

Benefits

The benefit of this project is to replace 2,200 feet of leak prone pipe with failing pipe supports to provide reliable water supply to the customers of the Greenbrae Boardwalk and improve water quality. 

Schedule and Status

Planning is complete. Design and construction on hold pending identification of funding.
