Investing in your water system

Tocaloma Booster Pump Station was built in 1961 and is the primary means of conveying raw water from Nicasio Reservoir to San Geronimo Water Treatment Plant located in Woodacre. In service since the station was built, the existing electrical equipment is now obsolete, with limited repair parts available. A full electrical upgrade with variable frequency drives will allow the District to reliably operate the station with water flow flexibility and reduce the PG&E electrical bill by lowering the start-up electrical charges. Replacement of select pumps and mechanical equipment will increase pump efficiency and also reduce operating electrical costs.
