Project Description 

This project will replace the two redwood Hind Tanks with a single, 300,000-gallon, pre-stressed concrete tank. Once complete, just two aging, leak-prone redwood storage tanks will remain in the District's system. 

Benefits

This tank replacement project removes two seismically deficient, leak-prone redwood tanks from the Marin Water distribution system, replacing them with a pre-stressed tank that is seismically resilient and fire hardened, resulting in a more resilient water infrastructure system.
