Marin Water is nearing completion of its next five-year Strategic Plan, which outlines the organizational goals and objectives the District intends to accomplish over the next five years.
Meant to guide the work of all District departments and personnel, Marin Water’s strategic plan has five key goal areas:
Furnishing and Delivery of 4”, 6”, 12”, 16” and 18” Welded Steel Pipe. The delivery of all 16” welded steel pipe is due by Feb. 29, 2024, and the delivery of all 4” welded steel pipe is due by April 30, 2024. All 6”, 12” and 18” pipe is due by June 1, 2024. See Special Provision Section 1.5 for details. The delivery location is at our Pelican Way Pipe yard in San Rafael within the County of Marin, California.

Update from Water Quality Team – Sept. 19, 2023
As part of normal water supply operations, Marin Water will switch the source of local water produced for customers from Kent Lake to Nicasio Reservoir. Some customers may notice changes to the taste and smell of their drinking water in the coming days due to this operational shift in water sources.
