Marin Water is offering Flume Smart Home Water Monitors for just $69 (plus tax and shipping) after installation to single-family residential customers. This 67% discount is made possible through a partnership with Flume Water and the California Water Efficiency Partnership.
The Flume device is easy to install and attaches to your existing water meter. Through a WiFi connection, the Smart Home Water Monitor gives customers information about their water use, potential leaks, and incidences of high water use in real-time. Leak notifications can be sent directly to your smartphone. With Flume, you can learn more about how you use water at home and so you find ways to use less.

Lawns typically need four times more water than climate appropriate shrubs and perennials, which makes converting lawns to sustainable landscapes one of the best ways to use water more efficiently.
Marin Water offers customers a rebate of up to $3 per square foot for replacing grass in their landscapes. Application and pre-approval is required. Homeowner reimbursements will be capped at 1,000 square feet, and business owners capped at 5,000 square feet.
When you install a kit to divert water from your washing machine to your garden, it’s called a Laundry-to-Landscape graywater system. We have partnered with the Urban Farmer Store to offer a $125 discount on your purchase of a graywater kit.

Cut down on water evaporation with a pool cover. We'll help cover the cost.
Using a cover when your pool or spa is not in use is the best way to reduce evaporation and save water. Marin Water is offering a rebate of up to $100 for customers that purchase and install qualifying pool or spa covers.
Rainwater harvesting is the practice of collecting rainwater from rooftops and storing it for later use. This practice can reduce potable water use while also helping to limit erosion and polluted runoff that harm our creeks.
Marin Water offers up to 75 cents per gallon of storage, not to exceed actual cost. The rebate is for new rain barrel installations only and cannot exceed system cost.
